WorshipStage is a church presentation platform operated by TSA Systems Limited in the United Kingdom. It helps churches manage Scripture, lyrics, notes, slides, media and connected presentation displays. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
2. Information we collect
Account and workspace information
We collect your name, email address, password in protected form, country, workspace memberships, roles, verification records and account status.
Presentation content
We process Bible references, song lyrics, service plans, notes, uploaded media, imported slide decks, output settings, bookmarks and history that you or your workspace choose to store.
Google Slides data
When you choose Import from Google Slides, WorshipStage uses Google OAuth and Google Picker to access the single presentation you select. We use its title, slide structure, presentation content and temporary page preview data to create a local PowerPoint deck and slide previews in your WorshipStage workspace. We do not list, read, modify or download unrelated Google Drive files.
Technical and security information
We collect IP address, browser and device information, sign-in and session records, timestamps, diagnostic data and audit information needed to protect accounts and operate the service.
3. How we use information
- Create, verify and secure your account.
- Provide workspace access, role-based controls and presentation features.
- Store and deliver your content to the controller, remote and display surfaces you choose.
- Import the presentation you select from Google Slides and convert it into a local PowerPoint deck and slide previews.
- Send account, invitation, verification and password-reset messages.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, monitor and improve WorshipStage.
- Prevent misuse, investigate incidents, keep audit records and comply with law.
4. Legal bases
Depending on the activity, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests in providing a secure and reliable service, comply with legal obligations, or act on your consent. Where consent applies, you may withdraw it by contacting us.
5. Who receives information
Workspace information is available to authorised members according to their role and workspace permissions. We use service providers for hosting, database and file storage, email delivery, monitoring, backups and security. Providers receive only the information needed to provide their contracted service. Google access tokens are used only during the selected import request and are not stored in the WorshipStage database or media storage. Imported Google presentation data is retained as the local deck until you or an authorised workspace member deletes it. We do not sell personal information, use Google data for advertising, or use it to train general-purpose AI models.
6. International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use recognised safeguards such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections.
Google API data safeguards
Our access to Google user data is limited to the Google Slides import feature and the presentation that you explicitly select. We use that data only to provide or improve the user-facing import function, and we do not transfer it for advertising, sell it, or use it for unrelated purposes. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You can revoke WorshipStage's Google access from your Google Account permissions and delete the resulting local deck from your WorshipStage workspace.
8. Security
We use access controls, workspace separation, protected credentials, encrypted transport, verified accounts, revocable sessions, restricted administrative permissions, monitoring, backups and audit records. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so use a strong unique password and report suspected misuse promptly.
9. Retention and deletion
We normally keep account and workspace information while it is needed to provide the service. Security, audit and support records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for security, accountability, disputes and legal obligations. When an account is deleted, we delete or irreversibly anonymise associated personal information unless limited retention is required by law, security or the rights of others. Encrypted backup copies may remain temporarily until replaced through the normal backup cycle.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and may withdraw consent. Contact [email protected]; we may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
11. Children
WorshipStage is intended for authorised church and organisation users. Organisations must obtain any permissions required before adding information about children and should use suitable workspace privacy controls.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as WorshipStage develops or legal requirements change. We will update the date below and provide additional notice where a change materially affects how information is used.
